Non-urgent advice: Message from NHS Wirral CCG

The local NHS is currently dealing with high numbers of people who have caught the COVID virus, as well as other urgent cases. This means it’s taking our GP practices longer than we would like to respond to calls and we are having to ask people who have less urgent health needs to wait a bit longer for an appointment. We are continuing to prioritise urgent cases.

If your condition is not urgent, we would ask that you look at the other options available for accessing NHS services, such as following self-care advice where you can from www.nhs.uk, using your local pharmacy for expert help and advice for every-day conditions, using our online services where you can request repeat prescriptions via the NHS app or the online services offered by your practice, and seeking support and advice from NHS 111 online to direct you to the best service for your needs if you’re not sure what to do.

Hoylake and Meols Medical Centre aims to provide a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere for all patients whilst offering a full range of medical services. The areas we cover are Meols, Hoylake, and West Kirby.

With patient needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
